Arthur Chen, Managing Director of Shoal Capital, joins WFOF Asia 2026

We are pleased to welcome Arthur Chen, Managing Director of Shoal Capital, as a panellist at the World Family Office Forum Asia 2026, taking place on 15–16 October at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong.

Arthur brings 20 years of experience across AI, deeptech investments and industrial operations. As Managing Director of Shoal Capital, a Hong Kong-based single-family office, he focuses on identifying opportunities at the intersection of technology, investment and long-term value creation.

Alongside his family office role, Arthur serves as a board member and advisor to emerging AI companies across the US, Europe and Asia, and actively mentors entrepreneurs. His previous experience includes senior positions at Fosun Group and Yingli Solar, as well as practicing law at Fried Frank LLP in New York.

Taking place on 15 October at 2:00 PM, the panel will explore how investors are approaching venture capital in a changing market, from sector opportunities and portfolio construction to the different considerations involved in investing through venture funds versus direct investments.

The discussion will also look at how family offices are assessing risk across different stages of venture investing and the trends that could shape the asset class over the next five years.
