We are pleased to announce Pavan Sawhney, Investment Director at Golden Alpha, as a panellist at the 7th Annual World Family Office Forum Asia 2026, taking place on 15–16 October at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong.

Based in Singapore, Pavan brings more than 20 years of experience across finance, banking and alternative investments, with particular expertise in private markets.

He began his career in Australia as a lawyer before moving to New York, where he held several roles at Citigroup, including investment banking and private equity fund of funds. In 2011, he returned to Australia to join Quentin Ayers, one of the country's leading alternative asset consultants, advising Australian superannuation funds across private equity, credit and infrastructure portfolios.

Since joining Golden Alpha in Singapore in 2016, Pavan has led the family office's global private market investments, giving him a broad perspective on long-term capital allocation and investment strategy.

Family Capital & Global Markets: An Investment Outlook

Pavan will join Stuart Parkinson, EMEA President at Corient, on Day 1 of WFOF Asia 2026 for a panel examining how family offices are navigating an increasingly complex global investment environment. Taking place at 9:55 am on 15 October, the discussion will explore where family capital is being deployed as investors respond to economic transition, geopolitical uncertainty and rapid technological change.

The panel will explore:

  • The macroeconomic and geopolitical developments shaping investment decisions

  • Where investors are currently finding the most attractive opportunities

  • Investment risks that may be underestimated by the market

  • How family offices are adapting portfolio construction and asset allocation

  • Balancing liquidity, downside protection and long-term returns

With family offices increasingly taking a long-term and global approach to capital allocation, the discussion will offer valuable perspectives on how experienced investors are positioning portfolios for the years ahead. We look forward to welcoming Pavan Sawhney to WFOF Asia 2026 and hearing his perspective on the opportunities and challenges shaping global private markets.
