Family leaders today face a significant challenge in defining their purpose, which extends beyond just strategy and structure in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
Why do we do what we do? What values guide our capital, our culture, and our legacy?
At the World Family Office Forum Asia 2025 in Hong Kong, this essential question will open the conversation with the session:
09:10 – 09:50 | Panel Discussion
Why We’re Here: Defining Purpose as a Family
Why Purpose Matters
While governance and investment strategies often dominate discussions, families are increasingly recognising that clarity of purpose is the true compass for long-term impact. Purpose influences how families:
Build enterprises that align with their values
Invest with intent and social responsibility
Shape a culture that endures across generations
Create a legacy that extends beyond wealth
This opening panel brings together family leaders who are redefining what it means to lead with intent in a world of uncertainty.
